A group of eight students from the Debate Group will be traveling to New York on March 2nd. This will be the second year our school participates in the National High School Model United Nations which is one of the largest Model UN simulations in the world.
Students will be representing Greece this year on fours different commissions and debating topics such as the use of Bitcoin, the refugee crisis in Myanmar, the crisis with pollinators and much more.
They have been working for several months researching about the topics and the position of Greece, they will be accompanied by two teachers who have been helping them to have all the necessary tools.
This Model has 4 intense days of debate with students from all over the world, and this year, David Iannini, Pablo Martinez, Gregorio Posada, Carlos Pardo, Samuel Navarro, Nicolás Segura, Juan Felipe Apraez and Felipe Sánchez will join the discussions and propose solutions that aim towards a better world.
We wish them the best and we are sure they will do a great job at representing our school and our country
