Six new teachers who will integrate the teaching staff of the institution had arrived to the Gimnasio Moderno, they will support the areas of English, Science and Spanish.
The school is pleased to introduce the new teachers who will train the students:
- Angela Pinto: B.A. in Modern Languages from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana & MA in Education. She will instruct the eighth grade students in the English area.
- Juan Carlos Muñoz: studied B.A. in Basic Education in the Universidad Javeriana and completed a Master’s degree in Education in the same university. He will be part of the teaching staff of the area of Spanish for high school.
- Catherine Avila: B.A. in Spanish Language, English and French from the Universidad de La Salle, she completed a master’s degree in Literary Studies in the Universidad Santo Tomás. She will be the new teacher of Spanish for the fifth grade.
- Diego Parra: Biologist of the University of Los Andes and MSc. in Microscopy and Microanalysis of the University of Sydney. He will join the team of Biology teachers for middle school.
- Juan Camilo Carmona: B.A. in Modern Languages from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Master in Applied Linguistics from the same university. He’ll be the English teacher for the tenth grade students.
- Carolina Durán: B.A. in Preschool Education from the Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores, she has studied theology and creative writing. She will be part of the team of Spanish teachers for Primary Education.
